Traveling to clients nationally and internationally is possible but not required.Core ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with the following:Audit preparation and liaison with audit firms.Monthly financial closings.Assistance with accounting procedures.Assist or prepare financial statements, including disclosures for audit, review, and compilation engagements.Education and QualificationsA Bachelor's degree with a focus in accounting.Essential FunctionsAnswer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.Develop and maintain client relationships.ExperienceA minimum of 1-2 years of public accounting experience.Demonstrated analytical proficiency in data research and interpretation.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAn understanding of GAAP and Statutory Accounting PrinciplesMeets deadlines, prioritize appropriately, copes well with change, and maintains composure under pressure.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.Self-directed and self-motivated.Highly organized and efficient.Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work in a team environment, give honest, direct feedback and is a solid verbal and written communicator.BenefitsMedical Insurance.Dental Insurance.Vision Insurance.PTO (3-Weeks).Paid Holidays.
