Adjunct Faculty, Business Information Management

Responsibilities Teaching strategies will be incorporated to foster student learning, success and retention. Adjunct faculty will work with other faculty in support of curricula improvement as appropriate to promote students' success and mastery of course and program competencies. The person in this position will plan, organize and teach classes as assigned. Flexible hours, days and assigned campus location may vary due to enrollment. Required Qualifications Doctorate degree in Business Master’s degree in Business Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in any combination of the following qualifying fields (must include at least 9 graduate semester hours in Business): Accounting Business Business Administration Macro Economics Entrepreneurship Finance International Business International Marketing Leadership Management Marketing Small Business Management Knowledge, Abilities & Skills A personal and professional commitment to creating an atmosphere of quality instruction at SSC. English reading, writing and speaking skills at the native level of fluency. Ability to utilize technology and innovative pedagogy to enhance teaching and learning. Understanding of and commitment to working with a diverse student population in a multicultural environment. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to exhibit a professional, courteous demeanor. Work Environment And Special Considerations Works in a classroom/lab setting. Pay, Benefits And Work Schedule Part‑time faculty positions will be paid hourly based on educational degree: Doctorate: $52.49 per contact hour Master’s: $48.65 per contact hour Bachelor’s or equivalent: $44.76 per contact hour Additional benefits include competitive salary and other benefits afforded to part‑time employees.
