Job Title Physician – Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Neuroendocrine (Open Rank/Track Faculty) Position Overview Physician specializing in Neuroendocrine to serve as a member of the Division of Medical Oncology, within the Department of Internal Medicine. Directs and provides direct and indirect patient care services in both inpatient and outpatient settings; conducts ambulatory clinics; interviews, obtains and reviews medical history of patients; performs physical examinations; performs relevant oncology procedures; orders special procedures, diagnostic testing, and other ancillary services; responds to consultation requests; determines, prescribes and implements treatment plans and/or medications; documents all services and instructions provided in the medical record; educates patients and promotes wellness, prevention and early detection; directs and participates in quality assessment and improvement activities; serves as preceptor and provides bedside training of residents, fellows, medical students, undergraduate and graduate students, nursing staff, and other allied medical professionals; ensures continuing medical education requirements are met; participates in department, college, medical center and university committees and other service activities. The university is currently seeking oncology physicians at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor rank for a variety of roles in the areas of basic and translational research, education, and inpatient and outpatient care.
