Medical Technician

Job Title

The duties include:

• Maintaining applicant's medical records during the examination process.
• In-process applicants, verifying identity using previously captured biometrics (digital fingerprints and photographs).
• Managing medical consultations to include verifying doctor's orders.
• Assisting applicants on completion of a variety of forms required for physical examination.
• Performing phlebotomy procedures to obtain blood samples.
• Reviewing unique medical forms for proper format, coding and completion.
• Maintaining control logs, custody logs and rosters, and treatment center referral list in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Ensuring safety requirements are met for the proper use, storage, and disposal of needles and medical equipment.
• Monitoring and maintaining stock level of medical supplies and restocking as necessary.
• Conducting standardized medical orientation briefings to applicants.
• Preparing packages and shipping specimens to testing laboratory.
