Opportunity:

Scrub Tech - OR

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every 3rd weekend required with blackout dates for Christmas and New Year's
• Rarely asked to take call
• No float requirements
• Perform C-section cases both planned and emergent with an average of 3-4 cases per day
• Assist with transport from room to OR
• Perform CNA duties between cases including vital signs, ambulating, stocking, and baby baths
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and circumcision procedures including set up and take down
• Utilize Jada system for hemorrhage management
• 1 OR for L&D unit
• Charting and equipment experience with EPIC required
• Required certifications: BLS and CST license required (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted); AHA or ARC certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in OB setting required; first-time travelers must have 2 years of experience
• Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program required
• High school diploma required
• Hospital-provided teal scrubs
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, manage change well, and have strong social skills
• Required skills: OB, C-section, and CNA support

This facility is a well-established hospital offering a comprehensive range of medical services to the surrounding community. The labor and delivery unit features a dedicated OR for L&D procedures and supports a collaborative team environment focused on high-quality patient care. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting and is equipped to handle both routine and emergent surgical cases in an obstetrics setting.
