The role of Mental Health Counselor offers the convenience of remote work, with the flexibility to schedule your hours to best meet the needs of your clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' unique mental health needs, using standardized tools and evidence-based methodologies.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral techniques, trauma-informed care, and family systems therapy.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, facilitating therapeutic discussions that encourage personal growth and healing.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with case managers, psychiatrists, and other allied health professionals, ensuring that our clients receive holistic care that addresses all aspects of their well-being.
• Offer crisis intervention services, providing immediate support and strategies to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, demonstrating your expertise and compassion in high-stress situations.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives, actively promoting mental health education and awareness programs to foster a supportive environment that reduces stigma around mental health challenges.

Qualifications

• An active and independent license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients, working effectively in a therapeutic alliance.
• Cultural competence to sensitively address the needs of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational skills, able to maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a community health setting or similar environment, working with underserved populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology that enhance virtual therapy sessions, ensuring seamless client interactions.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing culturally-competent therapeutic interventions, recognizing the importance of diverse perspectives in client care.

Compensation and Benefits
