Billing associates utilize the business' accounting systems to monitor billing transactions and resolve account discrepancies accordingly. Manage Special Billing invoices through the Pilot Invoice application. Ensure all back-up/requirements are provided before invoices are sent out to the customer. Generate a PN for any missing back-up/requirements. Manage customer coding for new accounts or billing change forms.Essential Functions:Knowledge of each customers tariff in your audit assignmentAudit invoices from daily invoice audit reportKeep audit books up to date with newest tariffsSend audited invoices as soon as they become availableAudit from pending reports if neededRelease EDI transmissions as soon as the invoices become availableUpdate procedures and work instructions in the QMS as needed to reflect current processesHandle invoice corrections as neededRespond to emails and phone calls in a timely mannerContinue to increase communication to the stations to encourage them to use us as a resource to resolve problemsSend out Special Bulling Invoices as neededManage Special Billing inboxOther duties as assignedSKILLS/COMPETENCIESDetail oriented, capable of carrying out a given task with all details neededTeam playerStrong ability to work independentlyExcellent phone and customer service etiquetteGoal OrientedModerate understanding of ExcelComputer savvyAbility to work in a fast paced environmentEDUCATION:High school or equivalent education requiredBachelor’s degree a plusEXPERIENCE2 years of experience in a billing associate roleCompany Benefits:MedicalDentalVision401k + Company MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Time OffFlexible Work Schedules (when possible)And more!Pay Range:$23-$25 per hour*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position.
