Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound exams, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular studies
• Provide a comfortable, safe environment for patients throughout their procedures, explaining each phase thoughtfully
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure the highest quality imaging outcomes
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring prompt reporting of any issues
• Thoroughly document procedures, preserving accurate patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in sonographic imaging technology and methodologies

Education Requirements

• A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline at the Associate or Bachelor level
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
