Onsite Lab and Customer Support Clerk

Labcorp seeks an onsite Lab and Customer Support Clerk in Kettering, Ohio to prepare laboratory specimens, perform data entry, and resolve customer issues in a high-volume testing environment. The role operates Monday–Friday, 9:00am–2:00pm, and requires a high school diploma and two years of relevant laboratory or administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
• Identify, label, pack and ship specimens to designated testing facilities
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen-related problems
• Scrub requisitions, perform sample spinning/freezing/splitting and communicate with client office staff

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Two or more years laboratory, accessioning, data entry, or manufacturing experience
• Ability to accurately identify and handle biological specimens
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational and data entry skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Capacity to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness screening

Compensation: $17.75–$25.49 per hour
