What You ll Do

• Provide urgent care services, including evaluation and treatment of minor injuries and illnesses
• Perform procedures such as suturing, I&D, splinting, and basic orthopedic stabilization
• Interpret X-rays, ECGs, and point-of-care tests (flu, COVID-19, strep, urinalysis)
• Manage acute conditions, epistaxis, cerumen impaction, and airway support
• Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and effective patient care

What You Need

• Virginia Nurse Practitioner license or compact license
• Active BLS certification
• Previous experience in urgent care or outpatient settings (preferred)
• Strong procedural skills, including suturing and minor procedures
• Ability to handle a high patient volume efficiently
