Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact this ESY season by supporting elementary learners as a Special Education Teacher in a part-time, contract position. Located near Mendota Heights and Minneapolis, this opportunity allows you to work closely with a small caseload of five students, ensuring personalized attention and fostering growth in a supportive environment. Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (required)
- Experience working with elementary-age students, particularly in special education settings
- Strong skills in individualizing instruction to meet unique learning needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Positive, patient, and flexible approach to teaching
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement individualized lessons tailored to the needs of each student in your caseload
- Work collaboratively with other educators, support staff, and families to promote student progress
- Track and monitor student development, adjusting strategies as needed
- Contribute to a safe, structured, and caring classroom atmosphere
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 to $39.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
