Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Monitor patient status, perform ongoing assessments, document findings, and respond to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders and facility protocols, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Apply critical thinking and professional judgment to care planning; use independent discretion as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensure infection control practices, and promote patient safety throughout the shift.
- Participate in rounds and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California.
- ICU nursing experience (preferred for this assignment).
- Ability to work in a high-acuity ICU setting with strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities for collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other staff.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
