Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will engage with clients in individual and couple therapy sessions, conducting comprehensive assessments that inform tailored treatment plans. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading therapy sessions with couples while also conducting sessions with each partner individually to facilitate effective communication and healing.

• Addressing a wide range of concerns including but not limited to alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, job stress, medical issues, blended family dynamics, and more.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients in making positive changes and achieving their goals.
\n
• Monitoring client progress, adjusting therapeutic strategies as necessary, and conducting follow-up assessments.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic treatment solutions for clients.

• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly focus on families, couples, and individual clients. You will address a diverse range of emotional, behavioral, and relational issues. The varied clientele will include individuals dealing with conflicts among family members, adjustment issues related to separation or divorce, and identification of communication barriers, all of which are critical for fostering healthier relationships.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
