Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (IMCU) – Georgia

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48-hour contract week; 16-10 bed Intermediate Care Unit with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio

Highlights:

• Intermediate Care Unit specializing in complex medical conditions including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, and respiratory failure
• Patient population includes COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes mellitus, substance abuse, and encephalopathy
• Experience managing heparin drips and high-acuity medical patients
• Manageable patient ratios in a dynamic critical care environment
• Immediate start available for qualified candidates

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent IMCU or critical care nursing experience
• Current Georgia RN license or compact state license with ability to obtain Georgia licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills with medically complex patients
