MSK is dedicated to training the next generation of scientists and clinicians, who go on to pursue our mission at MSK and around the globe.Are you passionate about maintaining a clean, well-kept and organized environment?We are seeking a hard-working, motivated, upbeat teammate with excellent communication skills to join the Environmental Services team as a Part-time Sanitation Associate at our Main Campus - 1275 York Ave.Role Overview:Perform sanitation duties (e.g., cleaning, mopping, dish washing, pot washing and other related duties) within the various locations of the Food and Nutrition Services department.Ensure all equipment and supplies are operational and available at workstation.Clean, sanitize and store pots/pans, dishes and silverware; clean and sanitize all equipment (e.g. kettle, ovens, mixers, refrigerators).Sweep, mop and clean assigned areas.Ensure supply of dishes and utensils throughout the Main Kitchen and Retail areas.Collect and dispose of garbage and other trash & recycling collections.Key Qualifications:Committed to productivity.Motivated to provide exemplary customer service.Takes action and eager to pursue new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.Adaptable in your approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations.A good decision maker, with shown success of making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.Adept at planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.Core Skills:Ability to read, write and understand basic instructions.Ability to stand for the duration of shift.
