Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery

Schedule: Nights, rotating weekends

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

Current unencumbered Oregon RN license
Healthcare Provider Level BLS
AHA ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS certifications
Preferred: Fetal Monitoring Certification and STABLE
Required: 2 years of labor experience including labor management, delivery care, fetal monitoring, postpartum care of mother and newborn
Epic proficiency required
Verification of high school diploma or equivalent

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients during labor and delivery.
Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs.
Assist in delivery and immediate postpartum care for mother and newborn.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding labor processes, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Compliance / Notes:

Must be able to travel for work assignments at multiple points of care.
No excessive RTO will be approved.
