Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

5x8 hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. On-call required every 5th weekend and one night per week.

The Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist will provide specialized support in the interventional radiology suite, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of procedures. The incumbent will collaborate with medical staff to deliver optimal patient care during neurointerventional procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in neurointerventional procedures under the guidance of radiologists.
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort throughout interventions.
• Maintain radiation safety standards, providing a radiation badge as required.
• Document and maintain accurate records of procedures performed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, with a focus on Neuro procedures.
• BLS certification required; ARRT (R) certification preferred.
• Previous experience with Epic charting system is favorable.
• South Carolina licensure is preferred; candidates with pending applications will be considered.
