We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Peds Audiologist to provide high-quality diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services for pediatric patients across dynamic settings. What You'll Do:

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations including visual reinforcement audiometry, conditioned play audiometry, otoacoustic emissions, auditory brainstem response, and more.
• Prescribe and fit amplification devices such as hearing aids, bone-conduction aids, and cochlear implants tailored to each child's needs.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with parents and caregivers, ensuring they understand testing results and treatment options.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop effective care plans that promote optimal developmental outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure safety and confidentiality in all interactions.

Required Skills:

• Doctoral Degree in Audiology (AuD) from an accredited institution.
• Valid Audiology Licensure in the State of Texas.
• ASHA or ABA certification.
• BLS certification (AHA recognized).
• 0-3 years of experience with pediatric populations; externships or rotations in pediatrics preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric audiology assessment tools and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to children's developmental levels.
• Ability to manage a flexible schedule and work independently.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with pediatric cochlear implant programming.
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse populations.
• Familiarity with community resources for children with hearing impairments.
• Prior travel or float experience in clinical settings.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) required.
• Pediatric externship or clinical rotation experience highly valued.
• Up to 3 years of relevant clinical experience.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel to various pediatric care sites, including temporary assignments.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
