Pate Ace Home & Hardware is looking for an upbeat, positive, creative, and self-motivated Marketing Manager to join our growing team!

As a locally owned retailer of a globally recognized brand, we have the opportunity to combine the resources and recognition of Ace Hardware with the personality, creativity, and community connection of a local business.

We're looking for someone who can take an idea and run with it.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced marketer who values flexibility, independence, and work-life balance. The right person will be organized, efficient, creative, and able to work independently, with much of the position able to be handled remotely.

What You'll Do

• Manage and create content for all major social media platforms
• Develop, manage, and track digital advertising budgets
• Identify and maximize vendor co-op marketing dollars and reimbursement opportunities
• Plan, promote, and coordinate store events, sales, promotions, and community events
• Manage and regularly update our website
• Reach out to vendors to coordinate promotions, events, product launches, and marketing opportunities
• Create engaging photos, videos, graphics, Reels, and written content
• Visit the store as needed to capture content and support events and promotions
• Develop and maintain a marketing and promotional calendar
• Look for creative ways to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, store traffic, and sales
• Track marketing efforts to determine what's working and where our advertising dollars are best spent

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous marketing experience
• Is upbeat, positive, creative, and enjoys working with people
• Understands social media and knows how to create content that gets attention
• Is comfortable managing multiple social media platforms
• Has experience with digital advertising and marketing budgets
• Can build strong relationships with vendors and community partners
• Is highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once
• Is a self-starter who doesn't need constant supervision
• Works quickly and efficiently
• Is comfortable working both from home and on-site when needed

Schedule & Compensation

This is a hybrid position with significant flexibility for the right person.

We are open to full-time or part-time, depending on experience, availability, and the candidate's ability to manage the responsibilities of the position.

Compensation may be structured as hourly or salary, with an annualized range of $50,000–$60,000, depending on experience, responsibilities, and schedule.

We're especially interested in someone who values flexibility and control over their time. If you're experienced and efficient and can accomplish in five hours what might take someone else eight, we're not interested in keeping you at a desk just to fill a schedule.
