About the Role
The Company is in need of an Interim VP of Human Resources to lead a transformative process, shifting the HR function from a transactional role to a strategic business partnership. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing an HR and talent strategy that is in line with the company's growth objectives. This includes assessing the current HR team, building a future-state people function, and leading initiatives in organizational design, restructuring, and role clarity. The role also involves building workforce planning tied to business needs, developing succession plans, and establishing talent acquisition and retention strategies. The ideal candidate should have a background in senior HR leadership, experience in workforce planning, and a strong focus on talent management and organizational design. The ideal candidate for the Interim VP of Human Resources position at the company will have a background in senior HR leadership, with a focus on operational, field-based, or project-driven organizations. Experience in building or transforming an HR/people function, as well as a strong background in workforce planning, succession, talent management, and organizational design, is essential. The role requires the ability to partner with executive leadership, facilitate talent reviews, and operate independently with a hands-on approach. While not mandatory, construction experience is preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to leave the organization with a stronger people function, a clear HR strategy, and scalable talent practices that support the company's growth from $100M to $300M in revenue.
