Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing accounting team in Tigard. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable processing invoices and vendor payments accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review vendor invoices
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
• Code invoices accurately and enter data into the accounting system
• Process payments via check, ACH, and electronic methods
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Respond to vendor and internal payment inquiries
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records
• Assist with other accounting projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous Accounts Payable experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
