Job Summary: Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Nights (Englewood, Colorado)
The organization is seeking a Travel RN for a Medical Surgical Floor role on Nights. Responsibilities include delivering skilled nursing care to post-op burn and flap patients, with a focus on wound and dressing management. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights (7P - 7A), 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum 1-year acute care hospital Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Burn care experience; wound care experience; ostomy care experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Responsibilities: Provide wound and dressing care on post-op burn and flap patients; support patient care needs in a Med/Surg unit environment
- Unit/Team Information: Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 3 nurses, 1 licensed practical nurse (LPN), and 12 patient care technicians (PCTs) on the night shift; patient ratio is 6:1 with LPN
- Typical Equipment/Technology: Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, patient-controlled analgesia (PCA), and Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Number of Openings: 4 positions (4/4)
