Details Hybrid unit combining stepdown/PCU/IMCU and telemetry med-surg patients 28-bed PCU/IMCU with a cardiac patient population Patient ratio of 1:3-4 Cares for STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain patients Administers cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors May float to telemetry beds within the same unit for lower acuity patients 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week No on-call requirements Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month Block scheduling is typically not approved Requirements Active RN license (GA or Compact) required BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years experience in a similarly sized facility required Experience in high-acuity, high-volume trauma center environments required Proven ability to manage critical, fast-paced situations Additional Information Works in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex and severe cases Local candidates accepted at the same rate as the travel rate Must provide complete demographic information, including a badge-appropriate photo, for onboarding American Traveler Job ID P-742378.
