Our typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the scheduling needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments for a diverse patient population to identify their unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and culturally responsive methods, to guide clients toward improved mental health.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, family counseling, and group therapy in a manner that promotes resilience, coping skills, and personal growth.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated care approach for each patient.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and ensuring safety.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings to share insights and strategies that enhance patient care and cultural competence.

• Commit to ongoing professional development and stay informed of the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic approaches, with a strong emphasis on cultural competence.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy, utilizing inclusive and productive therapeutic practices.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills with the ability to handle challenging and sensitive situations effectively.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients from various backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and common computer applications.

• A commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries.
