Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a supportive environment that champions best practices and exceptional customer service. This role emphasizes relationship-based care and upholds professional nursing standards aligned with the ANA Code of Ethics, Nursing Process, and regulatory guidelines. Acute care settings include medical, surgical, emergency, intensive care, pediatric, childbirth, and perioperative units.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term goals.
• Apply clinical expertise to assign patient care based on acuity and technical needs, continuously enhancing skills through evidence-based practice.
• Deliver outstanding guest relations to patients, families, physicians, and colleagues, embodying core values such as respect, integrity, collaboration, empathy, and courage.
• Communicate proactively to manage expectations and ensure a positive patient experience through rounding, timely responses, and service recovery.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment by minimizing noise, supporting healthcare students, and fostering positive relationships.
• Prioritize safety for patients, guests, and staff by adhering to national safety standards, HIPAA, Just Culture principles, and reporting near misses.
• Engage in professional growth through leadership opportunities, certifications, advanced education, and shared governance.
• Promote teamwork by inspiring, mentoring, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent acute care experience if from a non-accredited school.
• BSN preferred or required within five years of hire; MSN enrollment in accelerated programs accepted.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty credentials.

Active Registered Nurse license as required by the state board.
