Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a dynamic emergency department setting. Essential Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks and multitasking efficiently while considering short- and long-term patient care needs.
• Apply current clinical knowledge and technical skills to deliver expert nursing care, making appropriate patient assignments based on acuity and expertise.
• Engage in ongoing education to stay current with practice changes and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
• Exemplify excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with patients, families, providers, and colleagues.
• Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment by adhering to safety protocols, privacy standards, and regulatory guidelines.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient experience and outcomes.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent experience with at least five years in acute care if from a non-accredited program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is acceptable.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications as required.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the relevant state.

This position offers a second shift schedule with 36 hours per week in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
