We CGI is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Product Owner to support a client in the clinical/healthcare domain. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, clinical subject matter experts, UX/design teams, and Agile development teams to drive the development of a user facing front end application.

The Product Owner will define product priorities, manage the backlog, translate business needs into actionable requirements, and help ensure an intuitive and effective end user experience.
Clinical/healthcare experience and exposure to AI enabled application development are preferred but not required.

This position is located on-site in Lafayette, LA (Preferred) but can also work from any CGI Office in a Hybrid working Model.

Your future duties and responsibilities
. Define and manage the product vision, roadmap, priorities, and backlog.
. Drive requirements and delivery for a front-end application, with a strong focus on user experience and business workflows.
. Translate business and user needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, front end developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
. Lead backlog refinement and support sprint planning, reviews, UAT, and release planning.
. Prioritize features based on business value, user needs, risk, dependencies, and effort.
. Work with technical teams on integration of front-end experiences with backend services, APIs, data platforms, and AI enabled capabilities.
. Track product KPIs, user feedback, and outcomes to drive continuous improvement.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
At least 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, or similar role delivering software products.
. Strong experience with Agile/Scrum and product backlog management.
. Experience defining requirements for web based or user facing applications.
. Ability to translate business requirements into actionable product requirements and user stories.
. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
. Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
. Experience in clinical, healthcare, life sciences, or health tech.
. Exposure to projects involving AI/ML enabled application development, including defining AI driven use cases and product requirements.
. Experience delivering front end applications and collaborating with UX/UI and development teams.
. Understanding of APIs, backend integrations, and data driven applications.
. Knowledge of clinical workflows, EHR/EMR, patient data, HIPAA, HL7/FHIR, or healthcare interoperability.
. Experience in other regulated or data intensive industries.
. CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM, PMP, or related certification.

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $80,600.00 $188,100.00
