Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to thoroughly understand clients’ mental health issues, formulating personalized treatment plans that target specific therapeutic needs.

• Provide individual and couples therapy using evidence-based techniques tailored to promote personal growth and overall well-being.

• Collaborate with colleagues in regular staff meetings and one-on-one supervision sessions, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Set therapeutic goals in partnership with clients, tracking their progress while adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Deliver virtual teletherapy sessions, accommodating clients who may have transportation challenges or prefer remote services.

• Document therapy sessions, ensuring accurate and HIPAA-compliant record-keeping in line with our organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Big Cedar Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults and children, as well as couples navigating relational challenges. Our approach encompasses various therapeutic modalities, allowing therapists to adjust their methods to best meet the needs of each individual or family. You will play a crucial role in helping clients overcome significant barriers to mental wellness, fostering resilience, and facilitating healing in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid LMFT license in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, with a preference for advanced degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy or related disciplines.

• Proven experience in providing therapy to both adults and children, demonstrating a strong understanding of developmental issues and family dynamics.

• Comfortable providing therapy in both individual and couples formats, with a focus on integrating best practices in client care.

Preferred Experience\n
