About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to spearhead organizational modernization, continuous improvement, and proactive community outreach. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading efforts to modernize processes, systems, and technology to enhance service, efficiency, and sustainability. This includes regularly evaluating and streamlining operational processes, establishing a culture of continuous improvement, and identifying opportunities for automation and digitization. The Executive Director will also be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to diversify the organization's funding base, proactively seeking new funding opportunities, and building strong relationships with various stakeholders. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and/or at least 5 years of experience in the developmentally disabled field, with a proven track record of effective leadership and strategic growth. The role requires a candidate with strong financial knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a marketing and public relations background. The ideal candidate will be action-oriented, entrepreneurial, and innovative, with a passion for the mission and a commitment to the values of the organization. Experience in working with community, state, and federal services that support individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. The Executive Director must be adept at relationship management, including with the Board of Directors, and be prepared to serve as a spokesperson and advocate for the organization.
