You'll own product and inventory cost analysis, maintain standard costs, and explain variances across stores and categories. Partnering with operations and merchandising, you'll analyze margins, support pricing and promotions, and improve cost controls. This role blends accounting discipline with hands‑on exposure to the latest computer hardware, providing clear insights that drive profitability and better customer value in a highly dynamic retail environment. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze cost reports, inventory valuations, and margin performance for retail and service lines Maintain standard costs for products, parts, and services; investigate cost variances and trends Partner with store and operations leaders to forecast, budget, and control inventory and labor costs Support pricing, promotions, and product mix decisions with detailed cost and margin analysis Reconcile inventory, perform cycle count analysis, and support loss prevention efforts Develop and improve costing models and dashboards using Excel and ERP data Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and cost-related financial reporting Provide clear cost insights and recommendations to management for process and profitability improvements Required Skills Cost accounting Standard costing Inventory accounting Variance analysis Retail margin analysis Advanced Excel ERP/financial systems Budgeting and forecasting Data reconciliation Financial reporting #J-18808-Ljbffr American Accounting Association
