Overview Work alongside a leading cardiology program at Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI). The role involves providing comprehensive cardiovascular services across electrophysiology, transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical, and research units. Responsibilities Assist in the evaluation and treatment of cardiology patients in an inpatient setting. Assess patients and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including stress testing, to aid physicians in diagnosing medical and surgical problems and prescribe necessary treatment. Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record data in the patient’s record. Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries. Prepare patient workups. Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as part of direct patient care services. Work collaboratively with physicians and other Cardiology APPs within a team.
