Registered Nurse - Hospice/ Syracuse, NY , 24 Months Contract

Shift: M-F typical hours 8:45am-4:45pm

Job Details: Four positions that may work up to 37.5 hours per week. M-F, 8:00-4:45 (typically 8:45-4:45). Two positions are in the Division of Nursing Home Surveillance and two positions are in the Division of Adult Care Facilities Surveillance in the Central New York Region.

Duties: Bids are requested immediately. Resumes of qualified candidates will be accepted after bids are received. Award method: Award will be based on the Best Value. DOH has developed and utilized an evaluation tool which consists of a Technical score and a Cost score which is then weighted technical, 70% and cost, 30% to determine the Best Value. Individual resumes are ranked on an objective scale of 0-5, 5 being proposed candidate meets all of the required and preferred skills in the RFQ, and the cost score is ranked from lowest to highest price. Resumes strongly preferred, but not required in order to submit a bid. Resumes should be included for any candidates currently available. Please note that the hiring agency reserves the right to ask for additional candidates/resumes at any time after bid closing and that vendors must produce qualified candidates at or below the bill rate they bid on the RFQs

Candidate must be a Registered Professional Nurse, licensed and currently registered to practice nursing in New York State. The preferred candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, as well as strong time-management, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. In addition, the candidate must have excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, as well as a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, experience with data systems, and proficiency in working with MS Office products required.
