Role Overview: The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all ages, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within organizational policies. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate patient care activities and ensure adherence to practice standards. Maintain professional growth and accountability. Demonstrate proficiency in nursing procedures and patient safety. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred. New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred. Current Georgia RN license and BCLS certification required. Additional certifications may be required based on specialty, such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or chemotherapy/Biotherapy. Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills. Key Duties: Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans. Implement nursing interventions and evaluate outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
