Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments to determine the needs of new patients and their families effectively.

• Providing individualized and family therapy sessions grounded in patients’ unique circumstances and treatment goals.
\n
• Completing essential documentation, such as billing and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with time-sensitive deadlines, and insurance requirements.

• Developing crisis intervention plans, safety protocols, and relapse prevention strategies aimed at supporting ongoing patient stabilization.
\n
• Creating comprehensive discharge plans to facilitate smooth transitions for patients returning to the community.
\n
• Upholding all federal and state regulations, along with adherence to NEHS policies and procedures.
\n
• Engaging in continuous personal and professional development through training and educational opportunities.
\n
• Participating actively in case consultations and agency meetings to enhance multidisciplinary collaboration.

• Maintaining all licensing requirements and completing mandatory training to sustain professional competence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse client base that includes individuals and families facing a wide range of mental health challenges. This may involve addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. By providing personalized care grounded in cultural competence, you will help clients foster resilience and develop effective coping strategies to improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and a commitment to continuous learning.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
