TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Albany, Georgia, 31701!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 12 Hours Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ASLS, NIHSS Must-Have: C-section experience required Description: The unit adheres to a strict 75-mile radius rule. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience and at least one travel assignment. First-time travelers are not eligible. Interviews will be conducted with a registered nurse. There will not be a second interview. Candidates' profiles and notes will be sent to the staffing office, and confirmation will be provided within 20 minutes. Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6. Nurse aides are present, with a typical ratio of 1:8 to 1:10. Float to multiple specialties is required, including ortho, neuro, oncology, and acute care. Shifts run from 0645 for 12 hours. Candidates must be flexible with changing assignments during the shift. Pharmacy services are available 24/7. The facility has a PICC team available round the clock. Experience with various ventilatory support systems is necessary. Weekend and holiday rotations are required with permanent staff. Common diagnoses and patient types may vary across floats. Floating between different units is expected.
