Work Environment

This full-time position requires working onsite in our modern surgical center from Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours a week. The facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology that supports a range of diagnostic and treatment procedures. Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant in our Primary Care practice, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive physical examinations to assess patient health and identify medical conditions.

• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health conditions, proposing appropriate treatment plans.

• Prescribing medications and monitoring their efficacy and side effects for optimal patient outcomes.

• Providing patient education regarding health management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications to prevent disease.

• Maintaining thorough and accurate patient records and documentation to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to develop cohesive patient care strategies and enhance treatment outcomes.

• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and conducting research as part of our commitment to advancing clinical knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant will serve a diverse patient population, including those with acute care needs, chronic illnesses, and general health concerns. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

• A valid New York State Physician Assistant license, with PA-C certification.

• A DEA number to prescribe medications is required.

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in primary care, acute care, internal medicine, family health, urgent care, or emergency medicine.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.

• A collaborative mindset and a positive attitude to work within a team environment.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following are additional assets:

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Additional certifications or specialties in relevant areas of healthcare.

• Bilingual proficiency is a plus, as it enables improved patient communication.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes:
