Work Environment

This role is positioned within a hospital setting, where you will engage with a diverse patient population that ranges from acute emergencies to routine check-ups. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and take detailed medical histories to develop an understanding of each patient’s health status.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging, to inform the diagnostic process.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of health conditions, particularly within family medicine, adhering to the established protocols and treatment guidelines.
• Create tailored treatment plans for patients diagnosed with chronic illnesses, infectious diseases, and minor injuries, monitoring their progress closely.
• Prescribe medications and perform follow-up assessments to evaluate patient responses, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous electronic health records, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information for all patients.
• Provide patient education, informing individuals and their families about disease management, preventive health measures, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Facilitate care transitions for patients moving between different levels of care, coordinating with various specialists and healthcare providers.
• Champion preventive care initiatives within the community, promoting overall health and wellness.
• Stay updated with current medical research and advancements in primary care to continuously improve clinical knowledge and practice.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Active certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $160,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.
