Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Description Full Charge Bookkeeper Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our busy auto body shop. This role is responsible for handling all accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting overall business operations. Key Responsibilities: Manage all accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and shop management systems Post and process insurance payments and customer payments Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Handle payroll processing and related reporting Track and manage sales tax, filings, and compliance Monitor job costing, parts costs, and vendor invoices Work closely with management on budgeting and financial planning Assist with audits and year-end reporting with CPA Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for all transactions Qualifications: 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience Experience in an auto body shop or automotive industry preferred Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (or similar accounting software) Strong understanding of basic accounting principles Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills High level of professionalism and confidentiality Skills & Attributes: High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Trustworthy and able to handle confidential financial information Strong communication skills and team collaboration About Us: Collision Care Xpress knows that automotive repair isn’t just about fixing cars.
