Ensure consistency in flavor, presentation, and quality of dishes. Kitchen Operations: Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and cleanliness. Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety. Menu Execution: Contribute to menu execution and staying true to the authentic barbecue traditions that define Midwood Smokehouse. Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to train, motivate, and mentor the team. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Quality Control: Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to meet the restaurant's standards. Implement and maintain high culinary standards. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting. Culinary degree or equivalent experience. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Passion for barbecue and a creative approach to menu development. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
