Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Virginia Beach, VA Position Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: $24-$29/hr Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Are you an Accounts Payable professional who enjoys problem-solving, working with numbers, and keeping processes running smoothly? PeopleShare is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a stable manufacturing company in Virginia Beach. This is a great opportunity for someone with AP experience who is comfortable working in SAP and enjoys collaborating with vendors and internal teams. What You'll Do:- Process vendor invoices accurately and on time
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Prepare ACH, wire, and check payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and outstanding balances
- Support month-end accounting activities
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Work closely with Purchasing, Receiving, and Accounting teams
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience
- Experience in a multi-entity environment preferred
- SAP experience strongly preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service mindset
- Competitive pay up to $29/hr
- Consistent Monday-Friday schedule
