Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

WHLR is seeking to add a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive, professional, and client-oriented attitude about the company with coworkers, tenants, clients and the public whether contact is by email, telephone or in person. SALARY RANGE: $55,000-$65,000. To learn more about our company, please visit Job Description Compile, process, and maintain accounts payable records. Verify check request information for approval and accuracy. Able to prepare and process checks for multiple properties and entities. Print and obtain appropriate signatures on all account payable checks. Distribute signed checks to vendors as required. Correct workflow exceptions for invoices in accounts payable software. Notify the Accounting Manager of needed updates to vendor files. Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor inquiries. Analyze and prepare reporting on accounts payable aging. Prepare accrual and general ledger reconciliation. Ability to process and follow-up on rush items. Assist with check scanning and running daily bank reports. Assist with sorting mail daily to pull vendor invoices/statements. Periodically mail 1099s. Complete special projects as assigned. Experience, Requirements and Core Competencies Solid computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Avid and MRI or similar. Experience in a fast-paced environment preferably Real Estate. Independent, self-motivated, with exceptional communication and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task several projects across multiple properties. Detail-oriented person with excellent analytical skills. Qualifications and Education Requirements Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience in related field preferred. 2 to 3 years' experience working in the accounts payable function of an organization. #J-18808-Ljbffr
