Location: Columbus, OH Start Date: 11/02/2026 End Date: 02/01/2027 Shift: Mid 5x8-Hour (3:00 PM 11:30 PM) Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certs: CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM) required Experience: Previous Sterile Processing experience in a trauma or busy hospital setting preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $32.88 Benefits Include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time (per applicable law) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Pay package discussed upon application. What You'll Do Decontaminate all surgical items including drills, scopes, and DaVinci instruments Assemble instruments across various service lines, including trauma and loaner sets Operate sterilization equipment (sterrad and steam sterilizers) Manage high-level disinfection (HLD) and scope processing Maintain sterile storage areas and inventory Collaborate with OR teams as a liaison for sterilization needs Use Censitrac tracking system to monitor instrument and supply flow Experience with Medivator equipment is required What You Need Required: Certification: CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA/IAHCSMM) Minimum of 1 year of sterile processing experience in a high-volume facility Experience with scope reprocessing and high-level disinfection Ability to work scheduled evening shifts and rotate weekends/holidays Preferred: Trauma hospital experience Familiarity with Censitrac tracking system and Medivator About the Assignment Join a leading hospital in Columbus, Ohio, known for its busy trauma care and high-quality surgical services.
