Quick Facts Location: Columbus, OH Start Date: 10/26/2026 End Date: 01/25/2027 Shift: Day, 8-hour shift (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM), Monday-Friday Hours/week: 40 Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certifications: CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA), Medivator experience preferred Experience: Prior sterile processing experience in a hospital setting required Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $32.88/hour Pay Package: Discussed upon application Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated team support What You'll Do Decontaminate surgical instruments, scopes, and tools such as drills and Da Vinci equipment Assemble instruments for all service lines, including trauma, loaners, and peel packing Operate sterilization equipment (Sterrad, steam sterilizers) Manage High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and scope reprocessing Maintain sterile storage and inventory control Collaborate with OR staff and act as an OR liaison Utilize the Censitrac tracking system for instrument management Assist with Medivator and other sterilization/reprocessing devices as needed What You Need Required: Certification: CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA) Experience in sterilization processes (steam, Sterrad) and scope reprocessing Knowledge of Censitrac or similar tracking systems Previous hospital or trauma center experience Preferred: Experience with OR liaison roles Knowledge of Medivator devices About the Assignment This position at a leading hospital in Columbus, Ohio, primarily involves sterilization, instrument assembly, and decontamination duties within the surgical services department.
