Clay Mine Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Job Summary

We aew seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Clay Mine operations team. This position is responsible for safely operating heavy earthmoving equipment to excavate, move, and stockpile clay while maintaining production goals and following all safety procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in a clay mining environment.
• Safely and efficiently operate dozers, scrapers, front-end loaders, motor graders, or a combination of these machines .
• Excavate, move, level, and stockpile clay and other materials.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain production while following all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating dozers, scrapers, front-end loaders, motor graders, or a combination of these is required .
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong understanding of safe equipment operation and mine safety practices.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb on and off heavy equipment throughout the workday.

Important Requirement

Experience operating only backhoes and/or skid steers does not meet the qualifications for this position. Candidates must have hands-on experience operating dozers, scrapers, front-end loaders, motor graders, or a combination of these heavy machines.
