As Cook I, you will prepare menu items for dining room service while working efficiently with standardized recipes and presentations.* Take directions from Chef* Provide excellent service to both guests and team members* Ensure all guests’ special needs are met, including dietary restrictions* Estimate food consumption and purchases or requisitions food and kitchen supplies* Ensure efficiency and timely food production and safety* Participate in the provisioning of the island to include loading and unloading of supply vessels, conducting inventories and properly and safely storing items**What skills and experience do you need for this job?*** Valid Alaska Food Handler’s Certification, ServSafe Managers certificate preferred* Knowledge of proper food handling and preparations standards* Current CPR, First Aid* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Culinary School graduate or previous experience working as a cook in food service operations, or equivalent combination of experience and trainingThe starting wage for this role is $19.00/hour,**About Us:**We're more than a hospitality and attractions company.
