Temporary Food Service Cook

UAS Food Services is hiring a temporary part‑time cook to assist with food service operations, including grill and hot line, cashiering, customer service, and barista duties. Responsibilities Prepare and cook food for large groups (up to150customers at meal time) Operate grill and hot line equipment Cashiering and point‑of‑sale operations Serve as barista where needed Maintain health and safety regulations and sanitation standards Qualifications Minimum2–3years of restaurant cooking experience Grill and hot line experience preferred Health and safety regulation experience and training Ability to plan and execute menus for large groups Excellent customer service skills Knowledge of cash handling practices and inventory control systems Proficiency with computer programs for sales and inventory tracking Position Details This position is located on the UAS campus in Juneau, AK. It is a part‑time, non‑exempt temporary staff position. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade75, based on education and experience.
