Key Responsibilities\n

• Adhere to a structured work schedule as outlined by your direct supervisor, ensuring consistent availability for clients and colleagues.

• Maintain a current Oregon Driver's License to facilitate travel for home visits and community outreach as necessary.

• Ensure compliance with safety certifications, including maintaining CPR and First Aid certifications.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to ensure adherence to licensure requirements and uphold the highest standards of practice.

• Utilize our electronic medical record system to monitor, document, and communicate patient progress towards clinical goals.

• Provide assistance and resources to clients for addressing identified financial and social needs, fostering holistic well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Freedom Empowerment Counseling Services, you will primarily work with children and adolescents who present with a variety of mental health challenges. You will play a vital role in assessing emotional and psychological needs, implementing effective interventions, and guiding clients towards achieving their treatment goals. Your expertise will contribute to building resilience and empowering young people to navigate their futures with confidence and stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• An independent license in Oregon as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate clients, fostering an environment of optimism and growth.

• Competence in managing and prioritizing a dynamic workload effectively, particularly in a high caseload environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical or community setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
