Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in the vibrant North Denver area. This dynamic, itinerant position offers the chance to collaborate across multiple school sites—including two elementary schools, one middle school, and homebound student programs—ensuring a varied and engaging professional experience.

As the assigned OT (0.8 FTE, 32 hours per week), you'll have flexibility to arrange your hours over five days or four full days, as long as service minutes and meeting attendance are maintained. The caseload typically ranges from 40–60 students with both direct and indirect support, thoughtfully balanced across sites to account for specialized programs and early childhood settings.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Colorado OT License
• Colorado Department of Education license
• DORA certification
• Experience in school-based OT services preferred
• Strong organizational and time-management skills for an itinerant schedule
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver OT services to a diverse student population, including pre-K, elementary, middle, and homebound students
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and deliver both direct and consultative therapy
• Travel between assigned locations within the district
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress reports, and communication logs
• Attend team meetings, including IEP and staffing sessions
• Participate in a required Summer Symposium/New Hire Orientation (July 27–31, 2026)
• Provide ongoing support for students from August 3, 2026, to May 21, 2027
