Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, which may include abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and security throughout every exam, ensuring you communicate with clarity and empathy
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and other healthcare providers to produce high-caliber diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment and flag any technical issues promptly
• Document procedures accurately and keep patient records updated within electronic health systems
• Remain abreast of developments in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Educational Credentials

• A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related area-Associate's or Bachelor's
• Preferably, a completed CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a related organization
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
