Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Colorado teaching certification/license in Special Education required
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with early childhood and K-12 populations
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations
- Passion for fostering inclusive, supportive classroom environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students
- Compassionate, patient, and flexible mindset to adapt to diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver specialized instruction tailored to early childhood and K-12 students with varying exceptionalities
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with district and state regulations
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, paraprofessionals, and therapists to ensure student success
- Provide direct and consultative services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Foster a safe, consistent, and engaging classroom atmosphere
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with all legal and procedural requirements
